Richard Branson Speaks on his Motivation to take action on Climate Change

Richard Branson, an english businessman and founder of Virgin group speaks on his inspiration to take action and be part of the ongoing global climate change convention (COP 21), Paris 2015. He said:

"As humans we depend on healthy oceans and a thriving Earth to prosper – but, sadly we are jeopardizing our future by turning a blind eye to climate change. Climate change is everywhere – there’s nowhere to hide, and its affects will be catastrophic if it is not brought in line. With this is mind, world leaders are currently gathered in Paris for COP 21, to hopefully come to a bold global agreement that tackles climate change"

 

His participation on the panel discussion on how to ensure a safe future for coral reefs has inspired him on the overwhelming threats of global warming to aquatic lives and humans in general if the global temperature is not reduced to 2 degree celsius. Read more on Virgin
